The rooster seen at Ferrel's Garage Inc. on the corner of University Avenue and Alexander Street is made up of oxygen/acetylene welded steel and was created by local Rochester artist Craig Wilson. Craig is a self taught metal sculptor who is inspired by animals and the natural world, as well as his late father Al Wilson, and is influenced by artists such as Rembrandt Bugatti and Walter Matia.
